I mostly like this time of year. The holiday season. The end of the calendar year. It’s a time to focus on the things that really matter, family and friends. To reflect on the past and look toward the future. To question everything. I’m a strong believer that life is about asking the right questions more so than finding the right answers. Like the old adage attributed to Abe Lincoln:
"Give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe".
Before trying to find the right answer, make sure you’re asking the right question.
Today I will share with you some of my favorite questions I’ve pondered over the last year.
What can I let go of? What can I create?
What can I do today that I’ll be proud of a year from now?
Why does this make me angry?
What is one thing I care about more than anyone else?
Why should people care what I have to say?
What does it mean to seek truth? (What is truth?)
What if I said no? (Ryan Holiday)
What if I said yes?
What important truth do very few people agree with you on? (Peter Thiel)
How can I make one person happy today?
If you’re feeling brave and ambitious today, please share your answer to one question in the comment section or reply to this email.
Thank you for reading!
Enjoy the rest of your day!

Sam, I love good questions, and that's a good list
Why does this make me angry?
I've recently been discovering my internal dialogue regarding a coworker is very unpleasant. I'm not going to change them. My only rival is within... so how do I conquer myself instead of bitchslappin myself out of a job.... lol
